Hi!

Has anyone ever got the open directory to sucessfully do anything?

My site has been added (not by me) to the wrong category with a bad
description, and I can't see how to get them to change it.

There is no email address on their website, and it seems that all the forms
on their site have action="/dev/null".

Any suggestions appreciated.

Yes. And I almost considered trying to help you do the same, until I
realized you're multiposting. Clues for the clueless:

Would you be willing to share your ideas for getting entries in DMOZ
changed for the benefit of those who don't multipost but have the same
problem? :-)
